ripple-sketch

This is my post for Illustration Friday: Ripple. It is also my contribution for the same Ripple at Ripple Sketches.

The whole Ripple idea is that of illustrator Kelly Light. Ripple Sketches is a way for artists to contribute work to the Gulf of Mexico relief effort.

You can read all about it here. So far, Ripple Sketches has raised over $1500.00. Pretty awesome.

Nice job Melinda. Just about sums it up dead on. is this one of the sketches availablefor the small donations-if so I’d like. In fact I’d like a 2nd (numbered-i want the original!) so that I can send to President Obama.

Oh Melinda you nailed this in the message and the illustration. I really love what you did here. It’s really wonderfully illustrated and so much truth here. Great work. So wonderful to hear from you too. Hope all is well with you. Take care.
